Neil Barks was my neighbour for many years when I lived in Chapel Lane in Harriseahead. A kind, shy, and thoughtful man, he became a good friend to my partner[s]and family. We spent many lovely summer afternoons in his and my garden, talking about books, photography and his art. I have three gorgeous photographs of the Staffordshire countryside he gave me as gifts. We enjoyed many walks together and we spent a lovely weekend in Dumfries and Galloway with my parents – and had the most amazing walks up Criffel Hill and along the banks of the river Annan . I will miss him very much. All my love Neil, rest in peace. Iona x

This news of Clare Madders death is so, so, very sad. Unfair that such a young mother has passed away and our heartfelt sympathy and deep sorrow go out to Clare’s family.
Rory- be strong. Our prayers are with all of you. Believe and you will know that your mother will have eternal life. Prayers for her- always.
